Sa-kwa (Hangul: 사과; RR: 沙果; lit. "apple" or "apology") is the debut film by South Korean director Kang Yi-kwan. It premiered at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival, but was not released in its home country South Korea until late 2008.[2] This subtle, introspective drama of shifting moods—with acute observation of the dynamics of relationships—stars Moon So-ri as a woman who, after being dumped by her fiance, marries another man but wonders if she's made the right choice.

Plot
Hyun-jung (Moon So-ri) gets dumped by Min-seok (Lee Sun-gyun), her boyfriend of seven years. Broken and teetering on the brink of emotional collapse she goes on a mission to find a new suitor and get married as soon as possible while her biological clock keeps on ticking away. Then Sang-hoon (Kim Tae-woo), an awkward man, enters her life. Attracted to his shy demeanor, Hyun-jung develops feelings for him and makes the conscious decision to marry him - until Min-seok decides he's made a mistake and wants to get back together with her.
